Q Each week I will host a live Thursday night 7:00 pm session via Collaborate Ultra. It will be scheduled for one hour but may take less time if there are few questions. The session will include an assignment that will count toward your course grade. However, the session will be recorded and made available in Collaborate Ultra for your review if you choose to not attend or are unable to attend. So, you can complete the assignment without attending the event in real time. The Week 2 live session will focus on the relationship between on operation's strategy and technological changes. Week 2 assignment: One of the Power Point charts shown during the live session included a depiction of six businesses that may, or may not, be significantly influenced by the coming changes in automobile technology. Most of these technologies are having an impact on the long-haul trucking industry. For example, several organizations are now using driverless trucks for interstate deliveries between major cities. Explain what businesses you believe may be significantly impacted by this trend and how their strategies may have to change. A typical good response for this assignment would be 200 - 300 words.
